AYR Aviation Ltd. is proud to have been selected by the United Nations World Food Programme to deliver essential relief in cyclone-hit Myanmar.

Deployed on 14th June, AYR Aviation is the main contributing company on the mission, with two Mi-8T and two Mi-8MTV helicopters, among a fleet of ten rotary-wing aircraft that have been contracted by the WFP for Myanmar.

Based in Yangon, our crews have been performing at least eight rotations per aircraft, per day, ensuring delivery of immediate level food and tents. The helicopters are also being used to transport WFP assessment teams into the Irrawaddy Delta, the low-lying region hardest hit by Cyclone Nargis.
